The Capable People

Shaun

Shaun Sayers is the founder of Capable People UK. Shaun established Capable People in 2007 after spending a few years working for a UK-based consulting firm, doing much the same type of thing, but without enjoying the very great privilege of being able to make his own decisions

Capable People was set up to support the founders (naturally) but not at any cost. Business improvement is incredibly interesting and rewarding and can be something of a dream job. That means being strong about doing the right thing and then, of course, doing it right

Over the past four years Shaun has established a wide and solid partner network, not just in the USA, but also across Europe, Asia and Africa, and it’s growing all the time. These partnerships are built on trust, ambition and, in no small measure, friendship

Shaun is a regular contributor on the IRCA Forum and in the IRCA INform e-zine, he is always happy to hear from anyone who has anything to say on the topic of performance improvement

Travel is Shaun’s main interest and he is fortunate that in his day job he gets paid for doing it. The map below gives an up-to-date summary of his comings and goings. There are a few random photos in the photo gallery, and also in the country categories in the left menu bar

Lindsay

Much like Shaun, Lindsay has spent her career working for UK and US consulting firms, assisting companies develop formalized ISO based management systems

The privilege of establishing your own company is being able to pick and choose the organizations you want to work with, based on the chance of success.  Like Shaun, Lindsay shares the philosophy of we can’t please all of the people all of the time, so let’s focus on those with a thirst for improvement and leave those looking for a traditional approach.  There’s already plenty of choice there

Lindsay is a regular contributor to local, national and virtual associations, groups and  forums, attempting to perpetuate the expectation of management system application for improvement
